Two years of the experience must have been in duties comparable to those of a PO II. Incumbent must be licensable as a ND Peace Officer under North Dakota Century Code Chapter 12-63 and shall attend the first available basic peace officer training program recognized by the ND Peace Officers and Training Board (POST Board) ensuring authorization to perform the peace officer duties of a Parole and Probation Officer in accordance with North Dakota Century Code Section 12-59-20. Must have a valid class D driver's license. Parole and Probation Officer II minimum qualifications: A bachelor's degree is preferred in behavioral science, education, business, or a related field with three years of work experience in a corrections, law enforcement, social work, education, or behavioral health setting. Eligibility to be licensed as a peace officer in North Dakota OR an associate's degree with five years of work experience with individuals in corrections, law enforcement, social work, education or behavioral health setting may be considered. Must be licensable as a ND peace officer under North Dakota Century Code Chapter 12-63 and pass the critical task assessment. Complete time logs as part of targeted case management. Function as a community liaison for the Division of Juvenile Services. Provide crisis intervention and emergency services to youth and family.

Minimum Qualifications

Juvenile Corrections Specialists require a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Juvenile Justice, or other closely related field and two years of work experience providing for the treatment and rehabilitation needs of delinquent adolescents. Coordinate and direct daily operations of sick call, doctor call, medical, psychiatry, physical therapy and other contract medical services within JRCC. Arrange and prioritize multiple clinic schedules and provide guidance for clinical operations and infirmary operations in the JRCC medical department. Ensure nursing coverage for a medium security facility operating 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Duties and Tasks

Maintain a cost-effective and efficient care delivery model to ensure a community standard of healthcare for the residents of JRCC.Maintain financial records, oversee inventory, and prepare budget proposals.Provide daily ongoing supervision and direction to JRCC medical department staff.Maintain legal and ethical standards within the JRCC Medical Department.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires an unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse through the North Dakota Board of Nursing.At least three years administrative nursing experience or three years correctional nursing experience.Knowledge of legal and ethical aspects of nursing and related practice.Ability to cover a shift as a Charge RN when needed.

As a Licensed Addiction Counselor with the ND Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, you will work with a multi-disciplinary team to conduct assessments and referrals, facilitate evidence-based programming and individual counseling, provide case management, crisis intervention, and group therapeutic counseling services to individuals, families, and clients at our correctional facilities. These services include the assessment and treatment of complex cases such as mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

Duties and Tasks

Interview clients to collect information necessary to evaluate the need for services.Analyze information obtained through records, testing, consultative reports, and related professional sources to appraise interests, aptitudes, abilities, and related characteristics.

Minimum Qualifications

Addiction Counselor I - Requires a bachelor's degree in Addiction Counseling, Addiction Studies, Social Work, Counseling or Psychology, AND current licensure as an Addiction Counselor by the North Dakota Board of Addiction Counseling Examiners. Starting Salary: $6,067.Addiction Counselor II - Requires a bachelor's degree in Addiction Counseling, Addiction Studies, Social Work, Counseling or Psychology, Licensure as an Addiction Counselor (LAC) by the ND Board of Addition Counseling Examiners, and Two years of experience as a Licensed Addiction Counselor. A Master's Degree in one of the majors listed above will substitute for one year of experience. Only professional-level addiction counselor experience in a private or public facility is qualifying and given credit. Starting Salary: $6,203.
