The State Historical Society of North Dakota has a rare opportunity to join our team as a site supervisor for one of our premiere sites, the Fort Totten Historic Site, located in Fort Totten, North Dakota. The site supervisor is responsible for overseeing operations at the site, including maintenance, museum store, interpretation, hiring and training the site team, delivering visitor services, engaging in local public relations, and managing the site's budget.This position will help to provide fresh relevant history in a changing world. Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree with a major in business management/administration, history, public history, education, museum studies, or other closely related field, and two years of related work experience including supervision of staff or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience totaling six years. Valid driver's license. Proficient level knowledge of and ability to use tools necessary for assigned work. Demonstrated experience with public relations and interpretation. Ability to multitask is a must! This position has multiple priorities with frequent interruptions. Preference will be given to candidates with an advanced degree in a related field and strong management and maintenance experience.
