We are seeking a Construction Manager as part of our Facility Management Division to lead and direct new facility construction, additions, and renovations and serve as an owner representative for state-owned facility public improvement projects across the state of North Dakota.In this position, you will oversee public improvement projects for state-owned facilities, ensuring efficient project delivery and adherence to quality standards. Responsibilities include providing construction management services to state agencies and offering owner representative and construction supervision for buildings on the Capitol grounds in collaboration with the OMB Physical Plant Director. You will also play a key role in preparing the statewide deferred maintenance plan in partnership with a contracted consulting firm. Additionally, you will represent OMB at various forums including Legislative Assembly sessions, interim legislative hearings, and Capitol Grounds Planning Commission meetings. This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities to facilitate successful project outcomes and stakeholder engagement."To thrive in this position, you must have significant experience managing commercial construction projects and experience serving as an owner representative. You must demonstrate a high level of initiative and professionalism and be skilled in working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders. To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree and three years of experience in the construction management, project management, architecture, engineering, or a related field. Experience as described above may substitute for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.Location: This position is based in Bismarck, ND. Hiring range: $78,000 - $94,000/year depending on experience. Your responsibilities will include:Assist in the statewide administration of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP), Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).Conduct compliance monitoring reviews of program administration and food service operations.Provide technical assistance and conduct training for program administrators and food service personnel.Assist with Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) Administrative Support

Minimum Qualifications
