Hiring Range: $4,650-$5,100 / month plus Full State Benefit PackageThis position is in the Office of Child Nutrition and Food DistributionLocation: Onsite at the State Capitol, Bismarck. This position may be eligible to apply for part-time telecommuting after successfully completing the probationary period. This position requires frequent travel with some overnight stays. Annual in-state travel includes approximately 45 workdays with 15 overnight stays. Annual out-of-state travel averages 5 workdays with overnight stays to attend USDA training or conferences. The Child Nutrition and Food Distribution Office (CNFD) is dedicated to promoting relationships and enhancing partnerships that provide quality nutrition education and services to the people of North Dakota. CNFD, in partnership with the Food and Nutrition Service of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), administers child nutrition and food distribution programs. A collaboration of federal, state, and local agencies provides nutrition services and food assistance to students, young children, and adults. As a CNFD Program Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the administration of various USDA programs. Your responsibilities will include:Assist in the statewide administration of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP), Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).Conduct compliance monitoring reviews of program administration and food service operations.Provide technical assistance and conduct training for program administrators and food service personnel.Assist with Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) Administrative Support

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in dietetics, food and nutrition, family and consumer science, education, public health, public administration, business, or other related degree and two years of professional-level experience similar in nature and complexity to the position's responsibilities.
