Business Services SpecialistEvery day as a Business Services Specialist, you will play a key role on the business services team, processing over 40 different business/entity type filings maintained by the Office of the Secretary of State. You will analyze and determine status for approval, correction, or rejection of various filings including complex scenarios that require the ability to research and make decisions. This position requires accuracy and attention to detail as you assist businesses in forming and maintaining their business status in North Dakota. You will directly assist customers with these documents in-person, or via phone, mail, or email. The position is located in Bismarck ND.To thrive in this role, you must be flexible in your daily tasks, be a strong communicator, possess solid decision-making and organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy in your work. Work is expected to be performed with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.To be considered for this role, you must have a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of professional office or customer service work experience.Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Three (3) or more years of professional customer service or business administration experience, and knowledge and experience using Microsoft business applications including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.The hiring salary range for the position is $3,614 - $4,200 per month ($43,368 - $50,400 per year)Application Procedures:Applicants must complete an online application via the State of ND Careers site: www.nd.gov/careers by 11:59 p.m. on the closing date.
