Economic Assistance - Remote in North Dakota - SNAP-Ed Program AdministratorWe are seeking a dynamic and dedicated SNAP-Ed Program Administrator to lead the management and development of the SNAP-Ed program. In this role, you will collaborate with contracted staff, key stakeholders, and community partners to deliver impactful programs that promote nutrition education and well-being across North Dakota. As a SNAP-Ed Program Administrator, you will provide a blend of leadership, program management, and community engagement. Program Leadership: Provide oversight and strategic direction for the SNAP-Ed program.Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong working relationships with tribal communities across North Dakota, including attending tribal council meetings and fostering collaborative partnerships.Education and Program Development: Educate partners on SNAP program initiatives while developing and enhancing programs to better serve community needs.Data Driven Decision Making: Analyze program data to identify successes, address challenges, and guide program improvements.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure program adherence to state and federal regulations.Grant Writing and Reporting: Collaborate with the leadership team to write grants, develop the state plan, and manage the annual report and needs assessments.Financial and Contract Management: Oversee program budgets, manage contracts, and ensure resource allocation aligns with program goals.To thrive in this position, you will need to have a growth mindset. You will need to be able to communicate clearly, knowing your target audience. You must be able to handle a constant shift in priorities while managing timelines. You must have strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships and lead complex projects.To be considered for this position, bachelor's degree in nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health, Business or related human service fields AND a minimum of 2 years of experience in program administration, preferably in public health or nutrition education setting.Travel is required across North Dakota for observations/evaluations.About HHS: ND HHS strives to make North Dakota the healthiest state in the nation by reinforcing the foundations of well-being: physical, economic, and behavioral.
