Behavioral Health - Remote in the US - Denials AnalystAs a Denials Analyst, you will, Audit denied claims to determine route cause and implement improvements to ensure claims are processed appropriately. You will collaborate with the Revenue Cycle team, making sure clinical appeals and reviews are done correctly and that insurance balances are adjusted accordingly, and appeals are getting paid. You will assist with the discovery of denial trends to review and resolve any issues. You will use data analytics to identify patterns and root causes of denials; analyzing trends to help prevent reoccurring issues. You will also prepare documents, reports, completing research for projects. You will work with others to update policies and procedures to better prevent the denial of claims. To thrive in this position, you should be good at understanding rules and analyzing data about claims denials. You will need to be able to communicate and coordinate effectively with others. You will need to be organized with a great attention to detail and accuracy. You will need to keep information confidential following HIPAA guidelines. To be considered for this position, you are required to have a bachelor's degree in a Business-related field or Health care management administration or equivalent work experience in Health Billing and Denials Management. This position requirements knowledge of payor requirements, regulatory and reimbursement methodologies and an understanding of Coding Classifications and Payor terminology on the Payment, Discount and Denial Codes that are applicable to creating the data models to uncover trend.Location: Remote in US with the ability to travel to Bismarck if needed.
