Many of our customers enjoy the fact that they can search for jobs, explore careers, create, copy, and fax documents, complete job applications, phone employers and conduct many other employment related activities from our resource room. Our staff is always nearby to help when you need it. With more than 30 Internet ready, public access computers, our Resource Room can be a valuable resource for job seekers. Visit with our staff to learn more about how our services can help you.

Helping veterans find work. Helping those filing for unemployment return to work quickly. Helping people become self sufficient. Helping those in need of better skills to get the training. These and other similar activities go on at our office every day. Frequently, eligibility requirements must be met in order to qualify for these services. Testing/Assessment
Clerical Testing services are available during all office hours and do not require an appointment. Please allow 15 minutes each for keyboard and spelling tests and up to 30 minutes for software tests. The most recent test is the score used and tests are considered valid for a one year period. However, most employers prefer test scores that are within six months of the application date. Keyboard Tests: Speed Typing, Alphanumeric Data Entry, Numeric Data Entry, Ten-Key Spelling: General Software (Available as requested by employers): Word, Word Perfect, Excel, Access, Power Point, Lotus 1-2-3, Windows Operating Systems Basic Skills and Career Assessments: Several programs are available to help customers make career choices and improve basic skills. Please visit with one of our staff to learn more about how these programs can help you.
