Dakotas and Western Minnesota Areawide Joint Electrical Apprenticeship and Training Committee are taking applications for the purpose of establising a list of qualified applicants so apprentices can be selected according to qualifications alone.
Trade of Inside Wireman (Electrician) Apprentice
Geographical Area Covered: States of North Dakota, South Dakota, with the exception of the southern halves of Yankton, Clay and Union counties; and the following counties in Minnesota: Kttson, Roseau, Marshall, Pennington, Red Lake, Polk, Norman, Mahnomen, Clay, Becker, Wilkin, Ottertail, Grant, Douglas, Pipestone, Murray, Rock, Nobles, and Traverse.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Provide a copy of Birth Certificate.
- Completed application. (Provide proof of successful completion of one full credit of high school algebra with a passing grade or one post high school algebra course with a passing grade.
- Be a high school graduate, or have a GED, and provide official transcripts for high school (or GED) and college.
- Submit a DD214 to verify military training and/or experience if a veteran and wish to receive consideratipn for such training/experience.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Take the NJATC Aptitude Test, developed and validated by the American Institutes for Research.
- Prior to being indentured, applicants selected from the pool of interviewed applicants will be required to take a drug test that will be set up and paid for by the JATC.

Minimum Qualifications

- Physical Fitness - Qualified applicants must be physically fit to perform the work of the trade, and may be subject to a medical examination on acceptance into the program and prior to being employed. The cost of the examination shall be the responsibility of either the Bismark/Minot or the Fargo/Grand Forks JATC.

Bismarck Area Carpenter Joint Apprenticeship & Training Committee

Minimum Qualifications
- Age: Shall be at least 17 years of age.

The Local 669 Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee conducts a five year apprenticeship program in all or part of 46 states in the U.S. for Sprinkler Fitters who are piping mechanics specializing in Fire Protection. We have excellent insurnace, pension and education plans. The apprentice's entry-level rate is based on a percentage of the Journeyman rate of $28.37 per hour and may increase every six months if qualified. Previous experience in construction or related college or military experience may enhance the entry level wage.
The minimum qualifications for entry into the Program are:
- Must be 18 years of age or over.
- Must be a high school graduate or have a G.E.D.
- Must be physically fit to perform the work of the trade.
- Must have military discharge under other than dishonorable conditions, if applicable.
Applications must be completed 45 days prior to the interview date. All applications must provide a copy of their birth certificate, high school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate and Military Discharge (Form DD-214) if applicable.
